The Diversity Unit leads the professional development of individuals tasked with promoting diversity and inclusion within the institution. This refers to a network of administrative and academic staff members whose role is to collaborate with their unit leadership to spearhead diversity-related initiatives in their respective departments.
The purpose of these interventions is to enable administrative and academic staff to deepen their understanding of diversity challenges and populations, enhance their relevant skills, and engage in dialogue within a diverse group setting.
In addition, the forum aims to promote initiatives led by Diversity Officers through the development and implementation of projects that advance diversity and inclusion. These initiatives are based on identifying needs and barriers, building partnerships, managing processes, and equipping officers with both emotional and professional tools to effectively address these challenges.
