Campus Activities
The Diversity Unit initiates and promotes campus activities that showcase the value and beauty of diversity within the academic community. These initiatives are part of the unit’s ongoing efforts and are also initiated by Diversity Officers across the university’s faculties.

Diversity Amid the War
Since October 7, the Diversity Unit has provided emergency support, including emotional assistance, webinars, and workshops aimed at supporting academic organizations and processing trauma, reaching over 1,400 participants. In addition, the "Winter on Campus" forum brought together faculty, administration, and students to promote tolerance and inclusion in shared spaces. Dedicated guidelines addressing current challenges and community resilience were also published.
Meeting Points
The Diversity Unit’s flagship program, launched in 2022 with support from the Schusterman Foundation, seeks to maximize academia’s impact as a central meeting place for students from diverse social and national backgrounds – with a particular focus on Jewish-Arab engagement. The program takes a multi-dimensional approach to improving intergroup relations, creating opportunities for success and reducing social gaps.
Reducing Gaps
Drawing on accumulated experience, the Diversity Unit seeks to establish and develop a university-wide framework for equipping all students with essential academic skills. Particular focus is given to the unique needs and priorities of diverse student populations.
