The Goodman Program is offered to Israeli students of Ethiopian origin studying for an MA or PhD in any discipline taught at the Hebrew University. The program is intended for those with the potential and motivation to excel and become leaders in academia and society, to cultivate their success at the university, in public service and in business. In the course of the Goodman Program, the students learn in depth and comprehensively about their own and community identity in its various aspects. The program seeks to provide space and a steppingstone for students of Ethiopian origin to excel in their chosen academic path and thereby become leading models in the community and in Israeli society more broadly.
